The long-awaited third installment in Blizzard's Diablo franchise, Diablo III set a new record for fastest-selling PC game by selling 3.5 million copies in the first 24 hours of its release.
Alongside Director Nick Carpenter and Art Director Chris Thunig, I developed the look and lighting aesthetic of both characters and environments in several sequences. During both pre-production and production, I advised Producers and Managers on cost-effective production methods.
In my lead role, I was involved in the visual development for all show assets, including environments and character skin, hair, and clothing. I wrote tools to increase team efficiencies, including that of LookDev, Lighting, and Modeling. I also developed a methodology for vetting different aspects of shaders and materials to ensure their visual integrity in the pipeline.
